Looking for a different kind of hobby to get into? Why not try radio controlled yacht racing? Whether you’re after fun social sailing or a bit of competition, anyone can give it a go. The yachts are controlled from the shore using simple radio transmitters and no prior experience is needed. Once you know the basics, you can advance to racing your yacht on courses and harbours and lakes around Brisbane and beyond. Have a chat with the friendly Commodore and they’ll help you try sailing a yacht and introduce you to the club members
