MORE RECYCLING EXCHANGE POINTS IN PARKS

Trials to allow residents to recycle their used drink containers in public areas has been expanded to incorporate more parks, reserves and open spaces across the Redlands Coast mainland.

Mayor Jos Mitchell said these exchange points were helping to reduce litter and improve recycling, whilst making it easier for the community to cash in on the 10cent refund offered through the Containers for Change scheme.
