GROWING FOOD IN SMALL SPACES

Got a small courtyard and dreaming of a productive garden? Come along on Thursday, September 10, from 7 to 8:30pm at Bayside Community Church, MacArthur Street, Alexandra Hills. Susan Mitchell will share how she’s created a productive garden using 24 perennial crops, providing regular small harvests for fresh eating or preserving. There’ll be plenty of time for questions over a delicious supper. Arrive from 6:15pm to browse the library and shop for seeds, plants and local organic produce. Entry is just $2 for members and $5 for visitors. Come along and grow your gardening know-how! Head on over to BayFM.org.au for more information
