Training
To become an on-air announcer the training program consists of five theory modules and four skills modules conducted by Skills and Theory Trainers. Following completion of the training trainees are presented with a Licence to Broadcast.
Training is undertaken on a needs basis according to known vacancies in the program format. A register is kept of interested people and the information required is:
- Any Previous experience
- Music choice
- Collection of CD's owned by applicant
- Applicant's availability for a program, ie daytime, night time, weekends only.
